Sharlemagne Tarot – Tarot Reading Perth

Sharlemagne Tarot – Tarot Reading Perth

For honest, straightforward answers and guidance, to be uplifted, empowered and enlightened, a reading from Rhiannon at Sharlemagne Tarot is what you require!

Hi I am Rhiannon Sharlemagne and it is my intention to uplift, empower and enlighten each and every person that has a reading with me.  I believe that you should walk away from my readings not only uplifted and enlightened but also empowered with “tools” and information that lead you to a greater understanding of your soul’s journey.

What happens in a Tarot Reading?

Each reader has a different style of reading, different tools or card decks with which to perform a tarot reading and different ways to prepare for the reading.  No particular syle, card deck or method of preparation is better than another.  What is important, I believe,  is the intention of your reader to perform a tarot reading for you in love and light and with the integrity to inform you for your highest good and the good of  all concerned.

Prior to you coming for a reading with me, I will “tune in” to you, cleanse and prepare the room, call in your guides and angels as well as my own and intuitively choose a tarot deck from my various card decks especially for your reading.  I will also intuitively choose a number of other divinitory card decks to add to the tarot reading.

I do like to burn oils or incense before and during a tarot reading so it is imperative that you mention prior to your reading if you have an aversion to oils or incense or if in fact you are allergic or reactive to these.

It is very important to me that I not only enlighten you, it is also important that I give you ‘tools’ to take away with you to assist you on your journey and moving forward from your reading.  It is extremely important that you leave any reading with any tarot card reader feeling confident, uplifted, inspired and empowered.  If I feel that you need further assistance with anything that has come up during your tarot reading I will most certainly refer you to someone who can assist you with any issue, or perhaps even suggest some of the healing modalities that I offer if appropriate.  However, I do prefer to be able to offer you “tools” so that you may help yourself!

When you first arrive for your reading, you will find a little message card on your chair that will be your message for the day and you will often find that its message  is reflected in your reading. Once seated I will ask you to have a drink of water then I will either hold your hands or place my hands on your shoulders as this allows me to connect with your vibration/energy/higher self.  We will then begin your tarot card reading by  shuffling and selecting a card from each of the “assisting” decks I have previously chosen and these act as reinforcements to your reading, extra messages or added information.  I will then ask you to shuffle and cut the tarot card deck into 3 piles and with your left hand, intuitively select a pile.  This pile is spread, along with your “assisting” cards and forms the basis of your reading.  If necessary we may spread other cards to assist with a particularly tricky question or situation.

In your tarot reading with me, I will not tell you what you want to hear simply beacuse you want to hear it.  However, I will tell you what you need to hear because you “need” to hear it!

Tarot Cards!

You may not be a novice to having your cards read and you may notice that sometimes the same cards may come up for you in differnet readings, and with differnet readers although they attribute different meanings to the cards each time.  Are they wrong?  No! Each card has a basic meaning which can be read, however the same card can have many different meanings, and different meanings for different people.  Each card can have a different or slightly altered meaning depending on the surrounding cards and even the issue or question being raised.  And again there is the variant of what your reader is tuning into pyschically or intuitively – meaning that the information is not always gleaned entirely from the cards, sometimes it comes from our friends and helpers in spirit too!

Tarot Decks Used:

Radiant Rider Waite Tarot Deck – the first deck I learned to read with and still my favourite. Vibrant, colourful, energetic!

Goddess Tarot – A very gentle and soothing deck that lightly touches on and coaxingly brings forth the feminine/Goddess energy in the querent (person being read for).

Aliester Crowley Thoth Tarot – a mirror of the soul.  Deep, mysterious, reflective!

Black Tarot Deck – not as ominous as it sounds.  It is darkly coloured and at the same time sensual, seductive and confronting.

Learn the meanings of the Tarot Card and How to Use Tarot Card Spreads

Learn the meanings of the Tarot Card and How to Use Tarot Card Spreads

A brief introduction to Tarot Cards

Tarot cards have been in use for many 100, if not thousands of years. Help predict and also get a vision for the future using special extensions tarot card meanings assigned to each of the tarot cards. In fact, the Tarot deck was the basis of the letters we use today to play games like poker and bridge.

Each full card tarot deck consists of two mysteries: the major arcana and minor arcana, tarot meanings with each card. There may be some tarot decks that only have 22 tarot cards which is the major arcana. This is because when you start can be very discouraging to try to learn the meaning of all 78 cards. Some tarot card readers never go beyond using the major arcana. There is no right or wrong, you should do what feels right. When you feel comfortable with the major arcana do not hesitate to start using less arcane too.

The two Arcane

The twenty-two letters that make up the great secret is based on classic archetypes. An archetype is a representation of some characteristic, such as The Priestess and The Fool. It is very difficult to implement their own knowledge and experience to determine the meaning behind the cards.

The Major Arcana can be regarded as a representation of the most important potential turning points in our lives. Their meanings usually represent the events that are beyond our control, but have some effect. The meanings are not always literal, in fact, rarely are literal and some of the skill in reading the letters is to be able to interpret the meanings of the cards. Take for example the letter of Death, which really does not mean you’re going to die! It is a card that represents change, either an end or beginning.

]]>

Fifty-six minor arcana cards in four suits are normally composed of Cups, Swords, Wands and Pentacles. different decks have different styles, such as gold coins) and sticks for wands. It was the lowest arcane, with some changes that were used to create the letters we use today to feel very familiar. There is a notable exception to the cards, the tarot has an extra picture card for each suit. The card will be different from deck to deck, but all trials with four picture cards instead of three.

The minor arcana represent the most mundane events and problems in our lives. These are the events that are within our control and our sphere of influence. Once you start using the complete tarot card deck readings that major events can be highlighted with the major arcana and see how it will affect the minor arcana. This will help provide guidance on the best course or courses of action.

The suits of the Minor Arcana

Each suit in the minor arcana is representative of one of the elements of earth, air, fire and water and meanings reflect these elements. Given the symbolism of the tarot and the different tarot decks, these associations are not fixed and may differ from the different tarot decks. Most decks come with a small brochure that describes the symbolism and meanings of the cards.

In general, the earth element is associated with the suit of Pentacles. This can be considered as a solid and stable as a rock. Earth also has a link to the money, which is reflected in matters of material possessions and financial soundness. The suit of Swords is associated with the element of air and can make changes and distances. Air also represents the authority and ambition, and even opposition. For the fire that we have the game of sticks. Bastos represents growth, creativity and enterprise. Cup final demand and its association with water. Water is an element of free flow cups reflects the intuition and creativity, as well as fertility and emotion.

Using Tarot card spreads

Taro cards should not be read individually and any meaning tarot cards will be affected by its position in the spread, as well as tarot cards around it. You can think of it as words in a sentence. Each word in a sentence has an individual meaning, but they both appear in the sentence and the words around to affect the meaning.

There are a variety of extensions to the tarot card and used each for a different reason. Over time you will find that you develop a preference for two or three differentials. Some of the ordinary differential cross tarot you are the Celtic cross, the spread of the horoscope and the dissemination of the pyramid.

In conclusion I would say that tarot cards are not evil or black magic use. Are really nothing more than cards, like our game cards and usually works of art in themselves. Tarot cards do not contain any power or create or make the events happen. They are only a means to help us understand the events and things that happen in our lives and in some situations can give us the opportunity to take some action. There are many different platforms out there, each with its own symbols and you’ll be drawn to a particular deck.Once, you come to appreciate the tarot can be a collector of these cards fine.

The Importance of Asking Good Questions During a Tarot Reading

The Importance of Asking Good Questions During a Tarot Reading

Tarot cards are one of the most popular ways that psychics tell the future. As we all know, every tarot reading begins with a question. Your question will eventually determine whether the tarot cards will really give you the answer that you want or not. That is why there is a need to ask a very clear, relevant question even at the start of the session.

There are some guidelines that you need to know about the questions to be asked when your fortune is being told using these cards. By asking these questions, you will be sure that you will get the answer that you are really waiting for during a tarot reading.

First, you might want to ask a question which aims to know how something has evolved or came into being. This is quite a great question to ask once you are quite confused about a particular situation and you want to know the possible outcome that may spring from it. Asking this type of question during a tarot reading will provide you a clear background on the actions to take regarding your dilemma and to find out where the difficulties will eventually take place.

]]>

Another effective question to ask during a tarot reading is about what to do in a certain situation. By doing this, you are simply asking the tarot to give you some advice on a particular concern that you have at the moment. With this question, the tarot cards will give you a relevant means of action that you should do in order to overcome the dilemma.

Asking about the personalities or characteristics of some people is also an effective tarot question. If you have a misunderstanding with a friend or a loved one and you really want to know why has he or she been acting as such, you can get more than enough responses during a tarot reading. You can also ask about the existing background of the problem so as you will be able to know the next action to consider.

There are other questions that people tend to ask during a tarot reading. Many people think that these are good questions, but actually they are not. Tarot cards have a tendency to give such vague responses once that certain questions have been asked. A simple yes or no question is not really good during a tarot reading. Questions like, “Will I be able to get the job,” or “Will we break up soon” seem quite good, but these can elicit vague responses from the cards. Another vague question would be asking the cards about a particular course of action that you have to take. Asking the tarot cards questions like “Should I leave him or not,” or “Will I go to Spain or to France?” are definitely going to give you vague responses. Tarot cards focus on the existing situation of someone’s life, and it eventually will give you measures on how to get through your problems, but it will not give you clear responses for closed questions.

Once that you have followed these guidelines, you will surely get the responses that you want from the age-old dilemma that you want to solve.

Is It Better To Make Your Own Tarot Cards for Divination Readings

Is It Better To Make Your Own Tarot Cards for Divination Readings

I bought my first tarot deck when I went through what I like to call a mystical phase in college. I had watched dozens of witch movies and thought that tarot had everything to do with witchcraft and spells.

I was wrong.

Tarot has been around for centuries, even though no one quite knows where it came from. There is evidence that it was in Egypt for a time, as well as in medieval England.

More commonly it is believed that gypsies are somehow responsible for endowing the world with the mystical, magical tarot cards.

Tarot cards are not about witchcraft or spells. They are, instead, about looking into the soul of another person.

1) How to get started

It is actually extremely easy to get started reading tarot cards. If you have never used tarot before, and know nothing about it, you should find some instructions.

There are dozens of books available for purchase, as well as hundreds of websites devoted to tarot reading. Then you have to pick a deck. There are dozens of different types of decks out there, and most of them are fine to use.

Eventually, after you get some practice under your belt, you may find yourself wondering if you can, and should, make your own tarot deck. After all, it is just some cards with pictures on them, right? It should not take that long to make some pictures and color them in, right?

2) The Conundrum Of Crawley

Let us take the example of Aleister Crawley. Aleister believed that he could make up a deck of tarot cards within a very short time. As a matter of fact, he believed that he would be done the deck within two weeks.

He requested the help of skilled drawer, Lady Frieda Harris, in helping him complete his task. For months and years the two went back and forth, doing their best to create the perfect deck. Finally, the deck was published, but not until both Crawley and Lady Harris had passed away.

]]>

His deck was named the Thoth deck, and is absolutely breathtaking and very unique. But keep in mind that this beautiful deck of tarot cards took over five years to create.

3) To draw, or not to draw your own tarot cards

There are some people who believe that you do not have to draw pictures on your tarot cards. Personally, I find this just plain wrong.

Tarot cards have a history of being as beautiful as they are prophetic. The question then arises, if you are planning on drawing your own tarot deck, of how good an illustrator you are.

I know that I am a terrible drawer. If I ever wanted to create my own deck, I would probably do as Aleister Crowley did and find myself a good artist to illustrate the deck for me.

You have to realize, though, that there is always the possibility that you and the artist might lock horns about the design, especially if the artist has a lot of pride in their work and are not getting paid for the project.

4) The bottom line

If you do decide that you would like to create your own deck, you need to be prepared for a number of things. For starters:

a) Be prepared to spend some time. It take a long time to make quality tarot decks, so do not get discouraged if it seems to take a few months or even a few years. At the end of the process, you will have a beautiful deck that you can be proud of. In addition, the cards will be imbued with your own energy; and you might find that you are able to read into more information when you are doing a tarot card reading whether it is for yourself or even for your friends.

b) Become a tarot expert. In order to make a good deck, you need to understand all of the pieces of the deck, as well as why they mean what they do. The pictures are there for a reason, and should help you to weave a story together, when they are laid down properly. You can start by doing regular practice of meditation on each of the cards, and do not be afraid to ask your higher, intuitive self for directions in making your own tarot cards! You might find that you will receive signs and information in your dreams!

c) Size does count. Most tarot decks in the store now a days are overly large. The reason is because the artists create very large illustrations, and then the publisher scans the picture down. If they go too small, it will be very difficult to see anything in the picture. Big decks, though, can be uncomfortable if you are not used to them. Most professional tarot readers us cards that are the same size as regular playing cards.

d) Do not scrimp. If you are making your own tarot deck, you are going to want it to last for quite awhile. What is the good of making a deck that gets destroyed in a few months? Use good material and your cards will last a long time.

e) It is not necessary to make your own tarot cards to read them. There are dozens of beautiful decks out there that have been around for hundreds of years, and you can easily use one of those if you prefer. Listen to your inner voice and trust your intuitive higher self. It will give you signs and indications if you should proceed to create your own tarot cards.

Do not be discouraged from creating a deck. If you have the desire to do so, go ahead! After all, tarot is all about knowing yourself so that you can create the future that you want!

What Does First-rate ‘the Tower’ Tarot Card Truly Hint At?

What Does First-rate ‘the Tower’ Tarot Card Truly Hint At?

Tarot cards consist of twenty one trump cards, the fool and one extra face card for every more suits in the deck. Assorted spaces in Europe use the deck to play games with organized rules, but in English-speaking countries, tarot cards pinpoint their utility in the field of fortune telling.

The tarot cards opened along with more cards in the 14th century. Investigators theorize that they were created in Islamic countries, but the initial ancient knowledge in the English-speaking world is the Christian area of Bern, Switzerland. The older tarot cards contained only sixteen trump cards as compared to twenty one in today decks.

The stylish tarot deck is separated into what is commonly called the major arcana or trump cards and minor arcane or suits of cards. The trump cards or major arcana consist of twenty two cards, every one of without suits. These include the fool, the Magician, the Empress, Justice, the Wheel of Fortune and others. The minor arcana is made up of of four suits of cards; swords, staves, cups and coins. Present, staves are often named wands, but rods or batons are seen as well. Coins may be christened disks or pentacles in some tarot decks.

Studying a tarot card is easy, as each trump card has a distinct meaning. For all that, careful interpretation is needed if one wants to read the meaning from the accumulation of cards. These cards demonstrate astrological connections with readings placed under the context of the Octavian Calendar. Tarot cards are accredited to readily describe the personal and emotional peculiarities of the subject.

]]>

The rich and age-old tradition of tarot studying is constantly increasing through time. The methods of interpreting tarot cards continue to change to catch up with the arts and sciences it is living in. The change in meaning could also contribute to the evolution of the card itself. The portions of a tarot card today are far disparate from what it was in old days.

Face-to-face tarot card readings are the greater favoured types of readings because they allow the individual to select the cards themselves. The reader then interprets what cards are chosen. This has more market appeal due to its interactive nature. In dissimilar parts of the world, there are several street readers who do readings for passers-by. There are also folk who go to homes in order to read tarot card meanings for additional members of public. England rates for home readings are at £12.50 per character or around that area.

Tarot card purists believe that these face-to-face readings are the original category of readings. This leads them to believe that face-to-face readings are a lot truer than more types of tarot card readings like e-mail or telephone readings. Then again, these arguments are astrological in nature and cannot be found to be true or accurate.

Telephone readings are generally more available than the street readings. A simple Google search will provide one with more options than one can normally find in the local lanes. These readings are available for more or less £5.00 per reading.

Phone readings are generally cheaper because being online the tarot card readers can appeal to a larger audience, and through which they do not display to over charge, as there is no lack of customers.

There is, on the other hand, a drawback to phone readings: a lack of mystique. According to tarot card purists, again, phone readings are less effective than the typical face-to-face understanding. Unfounded as this argument may be, it is enough to sway deciphering prices lower, and for those who believe in astrology, this might imply a whole lot.

This industry is largely helped by the maturation of online communication. While days gone by services have only been for local phone lines or party lines, the Internet has encouraged a enormous market rise in tarot card readings over the phone.

Tarot card divination might not be a real science; it might not be as accurate as some people would like to believe, but the market for tarot is ever growing through the availability of readings online and in more similar mediums. While this is so, there is still a vast demand for face-to-face tarot translating because of the mystique and interactivity. A fair judgment of the industry is that it is growing in its unlike aspects – whether it is face to face, on the phone, or by some more medium. While society drives itself into a more scientific future, the appeal of astrology, especially in tarot cards, is still growing fast.
